La iniciativa Beirut Preservation Fund surgió como resultado de la explosión de Beirut el 4 de agosto.

2.750 toneladas de nitrato amónico despegaron en el centro de la capital, matando a 200 personas, hiriendo a 7.000 y desplazando a 300.000 personas.

La explosión despegó en el barrio más turístico, fiestero y artístico. Y hoy, tememos a los tiburones capitalistas que podrían desviar el propósito y la belleza de estos barrios.

El Fondo de Preservación de Beirut actuará técnicamente como un fondo mutuo donde todo el dinero se unirá al fondo como una cartera y el porcentaje de los donantes se determinará en la proporción en comparación con la cantidad total.

El dinero se destinará a negocios, restaurantes, museos y tiendas artísticas.

The Beirut Preservation Fund initiative sprung up as a result of the Beirut explosion of the 4th of August.

2,750 tonnes of Nitrate Ammonium took off in the middle of the capital, killing 200 people, injuring 7,000, and displacing 300,000 people. The explosion took off in the most touristic, party, and artistic neighborhood. And today, we are afraid of capitalistic sharks who might detour the purpose and beauty of these neighborhoods.

The Beirut Preservation Fund will act technically as a mutual fund where all the money will be joined in the fund as one portfolio and donators’ percentage will be determined on the ratio compared to the total amount. The money will be directed to businesses, restaurants, museums, and artistic shops. We will keep them afloat and working.
